We are thrilled to unveil our new brand identity, a culmination of years of hard work and months of deep reflection. At MFS Africa, we have been growing our network of networks to build Africa's largest digital payments network. After years of building, our acquisition of Beyonic in 2020 allowed us to ask: does our current brand reflect our current impact, the evolution of our company and our future aspirations? We agreed that it didn't. So we took a step back to reflect on who we are, what remains constant and what has changed.
We remain committed to our mission to make borders matter less for our people, the continent, and the world. We are clearer on what we believe – that access is the only currency that truly matters. We offer our partners, and their customers access to people, markets and opportunities in Africa at scale. We already connect over 320 million mobile money wallets to each other across Africa, and by 2025 we want that number to reach 500 million.
Our new identity reflects the boldness of our mission and the vibrancy of the continent we call home. For us, the new identity is a reminder that making payments as simple as making a phone call is revolutionary work. To express our brand purpose, our wordmark letters are constructed out of a series of cut-off lines, curves and shapes, resulting in a logo with open borders.
A wordmark that feels as though it is breaking out of its own boundaries. The MFS Africa Yellow is a bright, daring and optimistic colour. Yellow reflects the positive impact MFS Africa is making on people's lives through our mobile financial solutions. Eye-catching and distinctive, the vibrant nature of the colour lends a sense of accessibility to the brand. Finally, the MFS Africa Charcoal is a bold, strong and solid colour that signifies maturity, power and reliability, signalling our credibility as a fintech brand.
Along with announcing our new brand identity, we have revamped our corporate website. We will continue to evolve our site to deliver rich new content in a modern, clean, and organized layout to allow visitors easy access to our company information, highlighting our latest innovative fintech solutions. You will see our logo change immediately on our digital presence, and in the upcoming months, we will be updating all of our physical assets. Changing a logo is a process that can involve many steps and take some time, so we will be taking a phased approach.
We hope that you like this new, bolder MFS Africa visual language! If you have used the MFS Africa logo in any of your marketing and media materials, please assist us in updating them. Contact us at email@example.com to get access to the new logos and to share your feedback.
